College History
Prof. Palash Jyoti Hazarika was the first Protem Principal of the college. BBEC started functioning from the academic session 2010-11 with two engineering branches, each having an intake capacity of 60 students: Chemical & Process Control Engineering and Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
In the academic session 2013-14, these branches were upgraded to Chemical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Later, in the academic session 2018-19, two additional branches were introduced:
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
