Drill Pilot Holes: - Drill small pilot holes for both the mounting screws (not included) and the anti-rotation pins. - For the pins, use a 1/8" drill bit to create shallow recesses. These should be just deep enough to allow the bracket to sit flush. 3. Insert and Secure the Two-Piece End Supports: - Insert the wedge-shaped brackets into standard line bore holes. - Attach the side-mounted end caps onto the rod ends, then slide the supports onto the wedge brackets until they click securely in place. The two small bumps on the end brackets are part of a patented anti-rotation design. These pins are meant to sit inside pilot holes drilled into the wall or panel surface, preventing the bracket from rotating under the load of hanging garments and ensuring long-term stability. Tip: For drywall installations, we recommend using anchors or mounting directly into studs for added strength.
