PHYSICS

About
The Department of Physics established in the year 2010 was started in the temporary campus. In 2013, however, the department was shifted to the permanent campus of college. Since then, the mandate of the department is to conduct teaching courses for students of engineering disciplines. The faculty members are engaged in rendering the engineering undergraduates with the fundamental knowledge of physics and problem solving skills, requisite for a bright career, and striving tirelessly to improve the education further. Presently, the department provides theoretical and laboratory courses of engineering physics to 1st and 2nd semester undergraduates (B. Tech).
Departmental Vision
To provide valuable resources for industry and society through excellence in technical education and research.
Departmental Mission
1. To impart quality education in Physics to build a solid foundation required for solving engineering problems.
2. Expose the students to the basic instruments and hence give them hands on training in the laboratory which will help them to handle problems in the practical field.
3. To encourage the students to undertake innovative project work with academia and industries to future entrepreneurship.
